There are two types of rats in our area, Roof rats and Norway rats. Roof rats are sometimes called citrus or fruit rats and Norway rats are sometimes sewer or wharf rats. There are two types of mice, the House and Field mouse. Roof rats are by far, the most abundant but all are very common. A rat can enter your home or office through an opening the size of their head. For an adult rat, that's less than one inch! Mice, only a half inch! With this much opportunity, no home or office is exempt. The services listed below are for rats and mice and not squirrels. 

Rodent Corrective Service  (RCS)

Rodent Corrective Service (RCS) is for the control of an indoor rodent infestation. We use a secured entrapment system to prevent possible harming of children, pets or non-target animals. Unlike rodenticide baits, this method assures you that no rodent will die in an inaccessible area like your wall, attic or crawl, eliminating the nuisance of smells and flies. This trapping system is placed in rodents paths and passages outside your home or office. We do all trapping outside to make eradication fast, odorless and hassle-free for you. We service the system 3 times a week until the rodents are eliminated. This service is guaranteed for 90 days. Most situations are controlled within 30 days but eradication time depends upon the severity of the infestation and prior control methods. Following eradication, we recommend Rodent Exclusion (RX), Rodent Proofing (RP) or Rodent Preventive Service (RPS) to keep you rodent free. 

Rodent Exclusion  (RX)

Rodent Exclusion (RX) is sealing the openings to block former rodent entry points. We use wire, screen, foam, metal, wood or some other material to block entries. This option is not available with an active infestation. It can be done when eradication is achieved. The word “rodent” means, to gnaw. Rodents, if not eliminated first, will only gnaw new entries. (RX) is guaranteed one year.

Rodent Proofing  (RP)

Rodent Proofing (RP) is sealing the structure to block all rodent entry points. This is a long range option using wire, screen, foam, metal, wood or some other material to block entries. This option is not available with an active infestation. Upon eradication, (RP) can be performed. The word “rodent” means, to gnaw. Rodents, if not eliminated first, will only gnaw new entries. (RP) is guaranteed five years.

Rodent Preventive Service  (RPS)  

Rodent Preventive Service (RPS) is recommended for homes, offices or areas of high rodent pressure and only when there is not an active indoor infestation. It is also recommended as a low cost alternative to the (RX) or (RP) or if neither can be done for whatever reason. Note: (RPS) is not for the control of an active indoor rodent problem. See Rodent Corrective Service (RCS). (RPS) automatically renews quarterly until you cancel or will automatically cancel if your payment is not received by it's quarterly renewal date.
A secured rodenticide bait box is installed approximately every 50 linear feet around the foundation or as needed to protect a covered area. Quarterly we inspect the exterior of your home, office or other control area and check for rodent activity. If a breach has occurred during the coverage period, we will as needed, add boxes, traps, increase the frequency of visits or other control measures as needed to regain control of the coverage area at no extra cost until the activity is controlled and then return to quarterly prevention.
